Welcome to Notting Hill Prep! I feel very privileged to be taking on the role of Headmistress of this wonderful school and to be building on the incredible legacy established by Jane Cameron.  NHP has quickly built a reputation as one of the leading prep schools in central London thanks to our excellent teaching and academic results, superb pastoral care and our wide range of extra-curricular activities.  However, what strikes me most about NHP is what a friendly school it is and I hope that you will feel this too when you come to visit us.

I strongly believe that children thrive when they are happy and in a nurturing environment - kindness, courtesy and concern for others are key themes at NHP and we look to bring out the best in each of our pupils during their time with us. It is a given that our pupils will move on to some of the leading schools in the country, but what is important for us is that they move on to the right school for them and that it is one which will allow them to flourish and build on the strong foundations that they have established here at NHP.

We are proud of our reputation as a Thinking School and through our Learning Habits and Values, we ensure that NHP pupils develop key life skills alongside academic ones.  The children leave us with a readymade toolkit for life - confident, articulate, resourceful, resilient and more than ready to face the next stage of their education.  Whilst academic rigour is important to us, we value equally the joy of childhood and we do all we can to ensure this is protected and that they enjoy these precious years with us.

I very much hope that you will take the time to browse our website and see what makes our school so special.  However, the best way to find out about us is to come and visit us and I look forward to welcoming you to our 'hidden gem' in the heart of Notting Hill.
