Each year, NHP hosts a special Teddy Bears Picnic for our brand new Reception starters and their parents. This enables the children to get a feel for life at NHP, and also allows the parents to get to know one another over drinks and food in the hall, whilst the pupils spend time with the teachers and their future classmates.
As this is such a big change for our tiny pupils, having this time to settle makes the transition from home or nursery to school life a little bit easier. As a well done for completing the afternoon, they each got to take home their own special teddy bear (wearing a t-shirt in House colours of course).
We can’t wait for you to start with us in September!
