The Year 2 pupils were delighted to have the author and money expert Kalpana Fitzpatrick visit NHP to share her knowledge about money. Her book, ‘Get to Know Money’ has been in the NHP library for nearly a year (recommended by an NHP parent). Having conversations about money from an early age is very important. Kalpana highlighted key areas for children to be aware of, such as learning where money comes from, ideas about saving and some important ‘dos and don’ts’. Her informative talk on this topic hopefully left Year 2 curious to find out more! They asked some brilliant questions and Kalpana was impressed with their ideas and understanding.
