Apply for a Bursary Award

Each year, the Foundation offers a minimum of two fully funded places to children joining into Year 7. Additionally, we offer a Jane Cameron Bursary, established to honor the founding Head on her retirement. This is awarded to a child starting in Year 4 who shows outstanding promise in the creative arts. These bursary places are academically selective and means-tested. Currently, in order to qualify for a bursary award, the maximum family income of your household must not exceed £45,000.

Our bursary awards cover not only fees, but trips, uniform, enrichment activities and incidentals. Bursary students are completely integrated members in the rich life of our school. Bursary pupils spend two or four years at NHP, depending on whether they arrive in Year 7 or Year 4, before transitioning to senior school in Year 9. All past award holders have gone on to attain scholarships and fully funded places at senior schools such as Charterhouse, Rugby School, St. Edward’s School, Westminster, City of London and The Harrodian.

All assessments for 11+ and 8+ places take place in the January before the September start.

For any bursary application enquiries, please contact the Head of School Development, Imogen Galsworthy at imogeng@nottinghillprep.com.
