Through Radius, Scott, a scientist from Imperial College London, gave an incredibly exciting workshop delivered at Colville Primary school, ‘From the Moon to Mars’. Over 100 pupils (Y3-6) enjoyed this workshop, charting the early history of space exploration through to modern day space tourism. This show educated and entertained in equal measure. It featured live demonstrations of rockets, fireballs and a peculiar way to travel with your tea! It certainly didn’t fail to amaze and engage the audiences of all ages and share many of the wonders of the physical world. Scott then moved to NHP in the evening, where parents and pupils from Y4-8 were able to share the joy – we also invited a number of local primaries to join too! A wonderful day all round.
