House Spelling Bee Finals This Week

Categories: Student Life

This week pupils at our school took part in the House Spelling Bee finals, a highlight of our literacy activities. Eight pupils from each year group took part in the final for their respective year, proudly representing their houses and competing to earn valuable house points.

From Reception to Year 8, our finalists demonstrated excellent spelling skills, concentration and confidence. The standard was exceptionally high across all year groups, and it was wonderful to see pupils encouraging one another and taking pride in their achievements.

Activities such as our school spelling bee play an important role in developing strong literacy, vocabulary and communication skills, while also building confidence and a love of learning.

A huge well done to all of our finalists and to everyone who took part in the earlier rounds. We are very proud of you all.
