Through the NHP Foundation, we place community at the heart of our school.
The NHP Foundation was set up as a registered charity in 2009 with the mission of honouring the core values of the school by serving our diverse local community in ways that enhance and improve the lives of primary school aged children.
We fund and oversee two interconnected programmes:
- Our Bursary Programme, through which we award fully funded, means-tested, transformational bursary places. We view the ability to award these places as the most significant and lasting societal contribution we can make as a school.
- Radius, our community partnerships programme, through which we work with local schools and charitable organisations on funded and cooperative ventures aimed at children within a one-mile radius of NHP.
Our transformational bursaries, which cost The Foundation £20,000 per year, reflect the inclusiveness at the heart of the NHP ethos. They cover not only fees, but all extras. This ensures that every child can experience their time here equally, regardless of circumstance. To date, we have supported 66 pupils, all of whom have gone on to earn fully funded secondary places at top UK schools. We are incredibly proud of their achievements, both during their time with us at NHP and beyond.
We rely on contributions from our parent community to deliver on our objectives, with donations fully funding all our work. The Parents Association organises fundraising events through the year, from Christmas and Summer fairs to quiz evenings. We could not provide these life-changing opportunities without them and their enthusiastic support. Find out more about the PA.
